Morris G. LaDue, 91, of Ulster, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on October 10, 1923 the son of the late Raymond W. and Ina Corrington LaDue. Morris is a Veteran of the United States Army Air Corp, serving in WWII and the Korean War. Morris retired from Ingersoll Rand, Athens as a manager of cost accounting. Morris loved to take his wife dancing and they enjoyed traveling throughout the states and abroad. Morris was especially happy spending time with his family and enjoyed time with them on all their many camping trips. He was a handyman around the house and was a jack of all trades. Morris loved to do his gardening and he was very proud of it. He was a member of the VFW Post #1536, Sayre and a member of the Ulster Methodist Church. He is predeceased by his daughter Lucinda Kay, brothers Raymond LaDue, James LaDue and Roger LaDue, sister Elizabeth Kraft, and sister-in-law Dorothy LaDue. Morris is survived by his wife Doris of 66 years at home, children Michael and Nancy LaDue of Athens, PA, Keith LaDue of Monroeton, PA, Suzette and Tom Wheatley of Waverly, NY, Gregory and Tracy LaDue of Elmira, NY, Dixie Coolbaugh and Rick Black of Sayre, PA, grandchildren Lynn Kennedy, Lori Payton, Amy Kepner, Amber Schrieber, Vanessa LaDue and Rory Haggerty, great-grandchildren Shelby Kepner, Kennedy Kepner, Hendrix Schrieber, Cecily Estabrook, and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 12pm – 2pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral services will follow at 2pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Kathleen “Kitty” Keller officiating. Burial will be at Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
