Doris M. Neiley, 81, of Athens, PA passed away on Thursday, September 03, 2015. She was born on May 23, 1934 the daughter of the late Harriet Neiley. Doris was a Teacher for over 30 years at the Vestal School District, prior to retiring. She was a graduate of Mansfield University and Penn State University. Doris was a Lifetime Member of the United Methodist Church, transferring her membership in Nov. of 1958 from the Wyalusing Methodist Church to the Athens United Methodist Church. She was an active member of the Daughters of American Revolution. Doris is survived by several cousins. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 2pm at the Wyalusing Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Wyalusing, PA with the Rev. Andrew Weidner officiationg. Arrangements are under the care of Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA. Burial will be in Wyalusing Cemetery, Wyalusing, PA.
