Leola E. Redman, of Sayre, PA passed away on September 24, 2015 at home. She was born on August 28, 1927 in Athens, PA the daughter of the late Corliss Howard and Adeline Dixon. Leola owned her own Ceramic Business and also was a Teacher of Ceramics. She and her husband Paul co-owned Redman and Son's Swimming Pools. Leola was known as being an excellent seamstress. She enjoyed making quilts and donated pieces to the Wounded Warrior Project. Leola was a member of the Eastern Star. She is predeceased by her husband Paul Redman, brothers Robert, Donald, and Milford Howard, and sister Edith Finn. Leola is survived by her sons David Redman, Edward and Beth Redman of Wellsburg, NY, and Robert and Randy Redman-Heffernan of Ithaca, NY, grandchildren Stephanie Nowak Redman, Andrew Redman, Olivia Redman, and other grandchildren, sister Chip Lines-Burgess and extended Lines Family; special niece Sherrie Cole, special nephews Ronnie Howard and Donnie Howard, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends and family may call on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 1pm – 2pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Memorial Service will follow at 2pm at the funeral home with the Rev. James Donahoo officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
