Nellie A. Baker Rimbey of Delevan, NY passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 16, 2015. Nellie was born on December 21, 1924 in Towanda, PA and was the daughter of the late William and Addie Sickles Baker Nellie was a 1942 graduate of Sayre High School and worked as a clerk at Dupont in Towanda, PA. Nellie enjoyed giving back to the community as she volunteered at the Robert Packer Hospital and Snyder Elementary School reading books to children. Nellie is survived by her grandson Scott Rimbey of Delevan, NY and 2 great-grandchildren Nicholas and Zachary Rimbey. In addition to her parents Nellie was predeceased by her son Donald K. Rimbey. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00AM at the Church of the Redeemer, 201 South Wilbur Avenue, Sayre, PA 18840. Arrangements are being done by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. Burial will take place at Tioga Point Cemetery in Athens, PA.
