I met Charles at a Mensa meeting and got to know him through our mutual membership in Mensa. One thing that I remember about him is that, when he was sure he did not want to continue as newsletter editor for our local group, he did not renew his membership until he was sure the position had been filled by someone else. I will miss him as a friend and extend my sympathy to his family.
