Obituary of Virginia M. Raynor
Virginia M. “Ginny” Raynor, 67, from Sayre, PA passed away at home with her family by her side on Thursday, December 31, 2015.
She was born on December 30, 1948 Camden, NJ, the daughter of James and Virginia Mayfield Gallipeau.
Ginny was an LPN for over 40 years and she loved nursing. She retired in 2010 from the Highlands Nursing Home, LaPorte, PA. Ginny loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. And she recently got to welcome her first great-grandson, Koby, whom she adored. She was a collector of antiques, especially dolls. Ginny enjoyed attending auctions all over in search of any type of antiques that caught her attention.
She is predeceased by the love of her life Edwin Raynor and her father James Gallipeau.
Ginny is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Casandra “Casey” and Stephen Clinton and son and daughter-in-law Scott and Theresa Raynor of NJ, grandchildren Jamie Raynor and Glenna Benson of Lowman, NY, Codey Raynor of Chemung, NY, Adrianah Clinton of Chemung, NY, and Conrad, Samuel, and Shane Raynor of NJ, great grandson Koby Raynor, her Yorkie companion GiGi, and the dog she rescued Jack.
At Virginia’s request, there will be no calling hours or services. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
