Andrew R. Felt, 88, of Sayre, PA, passed away at Towanda Personal Care Home with his family by his side on Thursday, January 14, 2016. He was born on June 1, 1927 in Waverly, NY the son of the late Arthur, Sr. and Daisy Felt. On June 25, 1949, Andrew married the love of his life, Bette Watson. He was a Veteran of the US Navy, serving in WWII. He worked for North Penn Company and Penelec as a Lineman and General Foreman. Andrew was a lifetime member of the Athens Methodist Church. He was a lifetime member of the Moose, a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge, 50 year member of the Coudersport Consistory, a 55 year member of Sayre Athens Lions Club, and a 36 year member of the Sayre ELKS. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 56 years Bette, his son Douglas, brothers Marvin, Arthur Jr., Ralph, and Nelson, and sisters Elma and Bernice. Andrew is survived by his children David and Bonnie Felt, Diane and Ray Nobles, Darren and Teresa Felt, Donna and Terry Dixon, daughter-in-law Linda Felt, and brother-in-law Forest Damon. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kyle, Brian, and Colin Felt, Mark Nobles, Jason and Jessalyn Felt, Andrea Murrelle Gentile, Amber Culley, and Nicole and Hanna Dixon, 8 great-grandchildren, and 25 nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call on January 19, 2016 from 2pm-4pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremations Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 4pm with the Rev. Andrew Weidner of Athens United Methodist Church and Chaplain Richard Davis of Guthrie Hospice co-officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in Andrew's memory to a charity of your choice and Hug a Love One.
