Roberta Lee “Bobbie” Culbertson, 56, of Athens, PA passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at home with her family by her side following her short courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 30, 1959 in Washington, DC, the daughter of James and Marlene Conley Casey. Bobbie graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School in Kingston, PA. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 35 years at various places in the Medical Field. Bobbie loved dancing and going to concerts. But most of all Bobbie loved spending time with her nieces and her granddaughter Kailyn Casey. She is predeceased by her son Ben James Culbertson, father James Casey, mother Marlene Zawol, and sisters Patty Casey and Marlene Miller. Bobbie is survived by her sons Casey Culbertson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Billy Cressman of Pittsburgh, PA, and Christopher Cressman of Pittsburgh PA., daughter Jennifer Lynn Thomas of Daytona, FL, grandchildren Kailyn Grace Culbertson, Jacob Thomas, Kaleb Thomas, and Dallas Bane, sister Teresa and brother-in-law Rob with whom she lived, sister Robin and brother-in-law Phillip Tortoricci, brother Jim Casey, and brother Tim and sister-in-law Julie Casey, nieces Terina, Tahnee, Makayla, and Mia, nephews Danny and Damien, and several cousins. Friends and family may call on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 5pm-7pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral services will be follow at the funeral home at 7pm with the Rev. James Donahoo officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
