Patricia A. "Patty" Geisinger, 75, of Sayre, PA passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016 with her family by her side at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre. She was born on January 30, 1941 in Sayre, PA, the daughter of the late Patsy and Jeanette [Rogers] Daddona. Patty graduated from Sayre High School, Class of 1958. After graduation, she was employed with Bob's Honda, and then worked for 25 years for Guthrie Clinic as a Medical Secretary. For the last 28 years, Patty was employed in Dr. Kung's Office in Elmira as his Medical Secretary. Patty was a devoted and loyal mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Her entire life was about caring for others around her, even during her illness. Her definition of family was anyone she met and she always made her grandchildren's' friends feel like she was their grandma also. Patty touched many, many lives along her journey and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, her flower gardens, and traveling. She loved to read and enjoyed country music, especially the old time hymns of which "Amazing Grace" was her favorite. She is predeceased by her parents and her grandmother Rachel Kipp Smith. Patricia is survived by her son George Geisinger, Jr. of Waverly, NY, daughter Lori Lane of Sayre, PA, grandchildren Aaron and Ashley Geisinger of Waverly, NY, Travis Geisinger of Waverly, NY, Patrick Lane of Sayre, PA, and Jonathon Lane of Sayre, PA, great-grandchildren Nathan, Annaleise, and Nolan, brothers and sisters-in-law Joseph and Kay Daddona of Waverly, NY and Tom and Elaine Daddona of Sayre, PA, uncle Milton (Donna) Rogers of MI, nephews Michael Daddona of Lockwood, NY and Stephen Daddona of Waverly, NY, nieces Wendi (Dan) Allen of Athens, PA and Janelle Daddona of Sayre, PA, and several cousins. Friends and family may call on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 4pm-6pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 6pm with the Rev. Linda Rogers officiating. Burial will be in New Era Cemetery, Wyalusing, PA at the convenience of the family.
