Herbert J. "Herbie" Proctor, 75, of Ulster, PA died on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Robert Packer Sayre, PA. He was born on November 18, 1940 in Clifton, NJ the son of the late Herbert and Margaret Proctor. Herbie was a Veteran of the US Navy, serving during the Vietnam War and was seriously and permanently injured during his service. He took an interest in raising dogs and machinery throughout his life. He is predeceased by his brother, Richard B. Proctor and his parents. Herbert is survived by his brothers Donald and his wife Wendy of Pulteney, NY and Allen and his wife Susan of Elmira, NY, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and an aunt. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 2pm at Bumpville Cemetery, Bumpville Road, South Litchfield, PA with the Rev. Jon Austin from Litchfield United Methodist Church officiating. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA. Burial will follow in Bumpville Cemetery, South Litchfield, PA.
