Robert L. “Bobby” Coutts, 78, of Athens, PA passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on October 22, 1937 in Winnie, TX the son of the late Lee and Geneva Eminhyzer Ashworth. Bobby loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He worked at various businesses around the Valley. Bobby loved to play bingo. He is predeceased by his grandson Dale “Bud” Vanderpool, Jr. and sisters Betty Ann and Irene Ruth. Robert is survived by his wife of 24 years Georgianna at home, children Heather and Ken Green of Sayre, PA, Orin and Loretta Talada of Athens, PA, Sarah Talada of Athens, PA and her boyfriend Robert “Raymond” Redmond of New Milford, PA, grandchildren Ashley Vanderpool and James Satterley of Athens, PA, Kristin and Edwin Simon of Sayre, PA, Alicia Vanderpool of Sayre, PA, Mary Fitzwater of Sayre, PA, and Hannah Talada of Athens, PA, and great-grandchildren Haleigh Green, Kenna Simon, JoJo Dickerson, Autumn Simon, and Chase Simon. Friends and family may call on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 6pm – 8pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA.
