Ellen L. Platt, 57, of Sayre, PA passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 25, 1959 in France, the daughter of the late James and Marcella Gallagher. Ellen worked at the Bradford County Manor for 5 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Ellen was well liked and will be missed by many people. She is predeceased by her brother Russell Gallagher, father-in-law and mother-in-law Joseph and Margaret Platt, and brother-in-law Daniel Platt. Ellen is survived by husband for 30 years Mike at home, children Megan Platt of Milan, PA, Amanda Gallagher of Sayre, PA, and Michael Platt of Milan, PA, grandchildren Emily Frisbie, Konnor Gallagher, and Wayne Tunnicliff, III, sister-in-law Kim Platt, niece Stephanie Miller, nephew Dustin Platt, great-niece Mia Miller and great-nephew Aiden Miller. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. in Athens, PA is assisting the family.
