Mary Karen McClellan passed away August 7, 2016 peacefully at home after an extended illness. She was born in Sayre on May 10, 1953, the daughter of Harold Zebulon and Pauline Lynch Coombs. Mary was a 1972 graduate of Athens High School. She was employed as a Certified Nurses Aid at Heritage Nursing Home until her illness prevented her from continuing. Mary is survived by her children, Scott Joseph (Aimee) McClellan of Waverly, NY, Carrie Ann Northrup at home and Christopher Bruce (Patti) McClellan of Zelienople, PA. grandchildren Abigail and Connor McClellan of Zelienope, sister Joan Laura Kehoe of Port Charlotte, FL, sisters-in-law Judi Coombs and Vikki Coombs of Athens. Nephews Bryan Vincent (Yona) Kehoe of FL, Michael John (Jaime) Kehoe of NC, Jefferson Clarence Coombs of Athens, nieces Jessika Coombs of Athens, Ashley Rae (Thomas) Byrne of Athens and Emily Ann Coombs of Athens, great nephews and nieces Kayla Perin, Jordan Alliger, Madisyn Joslyn, Paige Kehoe, Gabriel Coombs, Eric Kehoe, Jillian McCarthy, Max Kehoe, Alexia Sweet, and Molly Ann Byrne. Cousins Pat (Chuck) Holler, Ronald (Diane) Weaver, Donald (Connie) Weaver, Eugene Weaver and Ann Litzelman, Vincent (Susan) Lynch and Mary Margaret (Robert) Guglielm. She was predeceased by her father 3/7/84, mother 1/2/96, brother Harold Vincent Coombs 6/19/03, James Anthony Coombs 10/7/13 and brother-in-law John Wayne Kehoe 1/17/14.
