Arthur A. Baggerly, Jr., 91, of Barton, NY passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Athens Healthcare Center following a brief illness. He was born on April 27, 1925 in Plainfield, NJ the son of the late Arthur A., Sr. and Pearl Stiles Baggerly. Arthur worked as a Butcher for over 20 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Arthur is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Tim and Susan Baggerly of Waverly, NY, grandchildren Karl Baggerly and Elizabeth Baggerly, and great-grandson Cameron Baggerly. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law John and Ruth Baggerly of Sayre, PA, brother Paul Baggerly of Waverly, NY, and sisters Mae Rae of Ridgebury, PA, Helen White of NC, and Edna Schultz of TX. Friends and family may call on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 1:30pm-2:30pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 2:30pm with the Rev. Randy Stilson officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
