Scott A. Carrington, 59, of Sayre, PA, passed away surrounded by his family and friends on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. He was born on December 4, 1957 in Towanda, PA, the son of G. Edwin and Ruth (Robinson) Carrington. Scott was employed at the Ingersoll Rand in Athens for over 30 years. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and pets. Scott was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved camping. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, playing cards, woodworking, and bird watching. He is predeceased by his dad G. Edwin Carrington. Scott is survived by his wife of 13 years Fae at home, his mom Ruth Carrington, brothers and sisters-in-law Paul and Carole Carrington of Rome, PA and Steve and Melinda Carrington of Milford, MI, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with his hunting buddy Adam. Family and friends may call on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 12pm – 2pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA.
