Larry D. Boughton, Jr., 41, of Elmira, NY passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at home. He was born on August 20, 1975 in Sayre, PA, the son of the late Larry D., Sr. and Susan L. (Ackley) Boughton. Larry currently was employed with the Arnot Ogden Medical Center and taught ALS classes at Guthrie. Larry drove ambulance for and worked for Greater Valley EMS, South Creek, Lourdes, Founders Pavilion, and St. Joseph's. He enjoyed spending time with his daughters who were his pride and joy. Larry touched many peoples' lives and will be greatly missed by all. He is predeceased by his parents. Larry is survived by his children Susan Marie Boughton and Audrianna Jean Boughton both of Lowman, NY, and special niece Emilee Lowman. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 1pm – 3pm and 5pm-7pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 7pm with the Rev. Robert Wuethrich officiating. Larry requested his final ride to be in an ambulance. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
