Mary A. Foote died quietly on January 28, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Mary was born on April 26, 1937 in Allen, KY, one of 11 children to the late Grant and Bessie Parsons. She was predeceased by husband Donald on October 17, 2008. Mary is survived by her three sons, Donald, Jr. and Wanda Foote of Lockwood, NY, Tim Foote and Debbie Anderson of Helendale, CA, and Mike and Stacey Foote of Loxahatchee, FL, daughter Sandy and Randy Travis of Conklin, NY, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mary loved to play cards (Poker) and play the slot machines. She was the matriarch of the family and adored her grandchildren. She was a seamstress for over 20 years. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 1pm – 2pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 2pm with the Rev. Dann Travis officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Lowman, NY.
