Dorothy L. Forman, 84, of Long Pond, formally of Athens, PA passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Robert Packer Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on March 1, 1932 in Athens, PA the daughter of the late John and Ethel (Goodale) Hadlock. Dorothy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids. She was always looking out for others. She loved shopping and enjoyed going to the Pocono Lake Senior Center. Dorothy worked at the Bonnie Hotel. She was preceded in death by brothers, John and twin brother Donald, and aunt Lavica Hoffman. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 65 years, George at home, children George Forman, Jr. of Wilkes-Barre, PA, Robert Forman of Tannersville, PA, Stephen Forman, Sr. of Athens, PA, Donald and Joan Forman, Sr. of Greenville, SC, Kim and Sean Boas of Long Pond, PA, Kenneth Forman of Athens, PA, and Scott Forman of Las Vega, NV, grandchildren, Debra Forman, Robert Forman, Jr., Harley Forman, Stephen Forman, Jr., Kenni Jo Wylie, Karen Forman, Kim Forman, Donald Forman, Jr., Donnie Jo Forman, Tassie Moorman, Daniel Jarusik, Traci Bucksbee, Amy Jarusik, Jaremy Edwards, Terri and Jose Velazquez, Jerry Smith, and Samantha Boas, 40 great-grandchildren, sisters Lillian Cron and Mary Funk, brothers William Hadlock, Harry Hadlock, and Arthur Hadlock, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends and family may call on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 10am-12pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 12pm with the Rev. Ron Hadlock officiating. Burial will be in Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills, PA.
