Andrew S. Bruce Madison, 37, of Candor, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 19, 2017 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. He was born on May 28, 1979 in Hagerstown, MD, the son of Carl Madison and Linda Bruce. Andrew was a Veteran of the US Army, serving as a Combat Medic in Iraq, Germany, and Kosovo. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Andrew worked at Cayuga Medical Center in the Cath Lab. Andrew is survived by fiancé, Rebecca Kone at home, son, Aiden Bruce of Candor, NY, step-children, Caley Cole, Jaylynn Rich, Maximus Rich, and Deanna Rich all of Candor, NY, father, Carl Madison of Marshall, VA, mother, Linda Bruce of TN, brother and sister-in-law Joshua and Brandy Madison of Brunswick, MD, and sister and brother-in-law Emily and Luke Godson of Melbourne, FL. He also leaves behind his service dog, Sgt. Blue. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 1pm-4pm at the Slaterville Fire Station, 2681 Slaterville Rd, Slaterville Springs, NY.
