Adelia "Adel" P. Clark, 73, of Sayre, PA formerly of Dushore, PA passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Sayre Healthcare Center following a brief illness. She was born on May 14, 1943 in Sayre, PA, the daughter of the late Lee G. and Hattie B. (Lattimer) Schrader. Adel worked as a Housekeeper for many years at Tioga General Hospital and Darway Nursing Home, prior to retiring. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She attended stock car races with her husband and was very supportive of him when he was building motors for many different drivers. Adel always was involved in her sons' school activities and encouraged them in whatever they were doing. Adel loved spending time with her family, friends, neighbors, and her faithful companions, her pups as she called them. She enjoyed tending to her flower garden and spending time outdoors. She was a volunteer for the Sullivan County Food Pantry. She is predeceased by her husband Gail L. Clark and son William "Billy" Drake. Adelia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Bryan Drake and Shannen Wandell of Athens, PA, brothers and sisters-in-law Dale and Kathy Schrader of Ridgebury, PA and Jerry Schrader and Nancy Langley of Interlaken, NY, sister and brother-in-law Linda and Jeff Marenthal of Chicago, IL, uncle Jim Schrader of Sayre, PA, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by many faithful friends and neighbors, especially her close friends, Denise Lambert and Karen Goduto. Friends and family may call on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 12pm-2pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at the funeral home at 2pm. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
