Richard "Rick" Alan Campbell, 57, of Litchfield, PA, passed away with his family by his side at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA following a brief illness. He was born on August 25, 1959, in Waverly, NY, the son of Devillow and Herethel (Callear) Campbell. Rick was employed by Chesapeake Gas Company, Athens, as a Service Technician at the Gas Wells. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Carter, and his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed the outdoors, getting together with family and friends, four-wheeling, and just spending time together. He was an avid hunter. Rick was a rodeo fan, and owned and rode many different horses. He was also a bull rider for many years until he said, "I'm getting too old for this." He still owned two horses and rode only for pleasure. He is predeceased by maternal grandparents Clinton and Florence Callear, paternal grandparents Obadiah and Luetta Campbell, and brother Thomas Campbell. Richard is survived by his parents, Herethel (Callear) Campbell, of Litchfield, PA and Devillow (Diane) Campbell of Athens, daughter Madison Campbell of Sayre, PA, grandson Carter Campbell, siblings Robert Campbell of Litchfield, PA, James and Jody Campbell of Waverly, NY, Karen and Billy Zulkosky of Litchfield, PA, Deborah and Marc Hathaway of Willis, TX, Toby and Linda Campbell of Litchfield, PA, sister-in-law Donna Marie Campbell, and the mother of his daughter, Bernice Evans. Friends and family may call Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Litchfield United Methodist Church, 2759 Litchfield Road, Sayre, PA. Funeral Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the Church with the Reverend Jon Austin officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
