Obituary of Ronald A. Williams

Ronald A. “Ron” Williams, 69, of Gillett, PA passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Arnot Medical Center following a brief illness.

Ron was born on February 2, 1948 in Sayre, PA the son of the late Richard and Evelyn Belles Williams.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, medal detecting and spending time with his grandkids and many friends.  He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War receiving a Bronze Star.

Ron is predeceased by his parents, his brothers Richard, Jr. and Edward Williams and a sister Shirley Hovan.

He is survived by his children Dean and Victoria Williams of Ridgefield, CT, Kari Stambaugh of Newark, DE, Timothy and Rachael Williams of Newark, DE and Jessica Williams of Newark, DE; grandchildren Tess, Lucas, Brady, Kaitlyn, Elena and Zachary and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11am at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA with Rev. Linda L. Rogers officiating.

Burial will be held in the South Litchfield Cemetery, South Litchfield, PA.
