Obituary of Patricia J. Kepner

Patricia J. “Patti” Kepner, 68, of Athens, PA passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at home.

Patti was born July 16, 1948 in Sayre, PA the daughter of the late Patrick A. and Josephine Sperduti Soprano.

Patti worked for the Sayre Lingerie for almost 30 years, Guthrie business office for nearly 20 years, & office manager at Pat Haggerty Dance Studio for well over 30 years. She attended Epiphany Church, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and their families. She also enjoyed watching movies and musicals. Patti was the original dance mom.

She was predeceased by her second mom Dorothy M. Soprano, mother-in-law Thelma J. Kepner.

Patti is survived by her children Trudy & Jody Cain of Athens, PA; Billy Kepner & Joe Zappala of Providence, RI; grandchildren Dakoda Cain and Charley Cain along with two grand dogs Olivia and Buster; sister and brother-in-law Trudy & Jim Owen, brothers and sisters-in-law Jack & Gail Riley and Joe & Cheryl Miller, special family members Trigger Kinsman, Kay Marshall, Judy Nelson, Cindy Scaturro and Linda Furse along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends may call Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00PM at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 S. Main St., Athens, PA 18810. Memorial services will follow at 6:00PM at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the St. James Cemetery, Waverly, NY at the Convenience of the family.
