Obituary of Charlotte V. Sinsabaugh

Charlotte V. (Kithcart) Sinsabaugh, 90, of Waverly, NY passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on Sept. 3, 1926 in Camptown, PA, the daughter of the late Cornelius and Lelia Kissell Kithcart. Charlotte was a 1944 graduate of the Camptown High School. While in school, she participated in basketball and softball. She was a stay at home mom and homemaker, but also worked at Rockwells' Greenhouse in Ulster, PA and several dress factories as a Seamstress. Charlotte was a member of the Sayre Christian Church, serving as a Steward. She also served on the local Outreach Committee and the Library Committee. She was predeceased by her brothers, Howard E., Carl, Donald, and Corwin and sisters, Elizabeth, Eleanor, and Genevieve. Charlotte is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Jay at home, son, Howard Sinsabaugh of Waverly, NY, daughter, Cheryl (Foley) and Glenn Hunsinger of Sayre, PA, grandchildren, Brenda (Foley) and Peter Schultz of Long Island, NY and John and Victoria Foley of Barton, NY, great-grandchildren, Austin and Hudson Schultz of Long island, NY, Abby and Gabby Foley of Barton, NY, Reagen Foley and MacKenzie Robinson of Barton, NY. She is also survived by her sisters, Cora Sutton of Windham, PA, Blanche McGuire of Waverly, NY, brother Raymond Kithcart of Rochester, NY, and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on June 17, 2017 at 11am at the Sayre Christian Church, 427 South Keystone Avenue, Sayre, PA with the Rev. Kevin Arensman and Rev. James Donahoo co-officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
