Obituary of Jimmy C. Larson

Jimmy C. Larson, 80, of Waverly, NY, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the Elderwood Skilled Nursing Facility surrounded by his loving family following an extended illness.
He was born on April 1, 1937 in Binghamton, NY, the son of the late William and Dorothy (Shear) Larson.
Jimmy was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  He worked at IBM as an engineer for 32 years, prior to retiring. He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, camping, traveling, and spending time outdoors.  Jimmy was a member of the Owego MOOSE and the Endicott ELKS.
He is predeceased by his brother, Jerry Larson.
Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Audrey, at home, children, Steven (Phung) Larson of Apalachin, NY, Debbie (Dale) Johnson of Waverly, NY, Billy (Terri) Larson of Monroe, NC, grandchildren, Krista Johnson (Tony), Shawn Johnson (Monica), Tiffany Larson, and Taylor Larson, brother and sister-in-law, Jack (Barb) Larson of Binghamton, NY, sister, Joy Larson, and several nieces and nephews.
At Jimmy’s request, there will be no calling hours or services.  The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
