Our hearts go out to the Bentley family at this time of sorrow. Lance was one of the kindest men God ever created. He was a wonderful person who was one of the leading lights in our community. Lance will be sorely missed by one and all. May he rest in eternal peace.

Bentley family,
It was a great pleasure to have known Lance, his sense of humor and how he had cared for his community. I had the honor of being along side of him on many occasions, and of him telling me of his visits to his family near and afar and the joy it had brought to him. South Waverly, the Valley, along with myself are going to miss Lance's, he was a dedicated man to everything he was involved in!

I have always had great respect for Lance's commitment to South Waverly. It is clear that he had a significant and positive impact upon the town and its people for many years. Most people live in a town thinking that their town should take care of them. Lance lived in his town believing that he should take care of his town. By doing so, Lance helped make South Waverly a great place to call home.

Words cannot express just hove very sorry we are over such a great loss. We know that Lance had taken in our son, Matt, as well as our grandson, Zach, as one of his own & was a relationship that Matt enjoyed and will never forget. My dad, I am relieved you now Rest In Peace despite the ache of missing you so much. I'm so grateful I got to have you and mom for my parents and for the life you gave us.
