Obituary of William R. Elliott

William R. “Bill” Elliot, Sr., 53, of South Waverly, PA passed away Friday, November 3, 2017, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA, following a brief illness.

He was born on March 13, 1964 in Greensburg, PA, the son of the late Roberta Ann Elliott.

Bill loved spending time with his boys and grandchildren. He liked watching TV, especially murder mysteries and “Cold Case Files”. It was important to Bill to spend time relaxing and enjoying life. Bill was a quiet, gentle guy with a big heart.

He was predeceased by his mother, Roberta Ann Zappone, and his best friend and mother of his children, Terry Frantz.

William is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, William and Alysha Elliott of Waverly, NY and Dustin and Laura Elliott of Troy, PA, grandchildren, Jurni Elliott, Dustie Elliott, Harper Elliott, Lacy Howard, and one he was looking forward to meeting, brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Janine Murray of Kelayres, PA, sister and brother-in-law, Jaime and George Oden of Ruffsdale, PA, brother, Anthony Zappone of Pittsburgh, PA, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 12pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA with the Rev. Linda Rogers officiating.

Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, Pa.
