Obituary of George E. Geisinger

George E. Geisinger, Jr., 56, of Waverly, NY passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at home.

He was born on June 22, 1961 in Sayre, PA, the son of George E. Geisinger, Sr., and Patricia Daddona Geisinger.

George was employed with Acme on Keystone Avenue in Sayre for 20 years. He was then a car salesman for 18 years with Simmons-Rockwell in Big Flats, NY. George loved the outdoors and enjoyed many activities that allowed him to spend time in nature. He adored camping, hunting, and fishing. George also liked riding four-wheelers, and visiting the beach.

He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia A. Geisinger in 2017, maternal grandparents, Patsy Daddona and Jeanette Rogers Daddona, and paternal grandparents, Albert and Laura Geisinger.

George is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Ashley Geisinger of Waverly, NY, son Travis Geisinger of Sayre, PA, grandchildren, Nathan, Annaleise, and Nolan Geisinger, father and step-mother, George and Shirley Geisinger of Waverly, NY, sisters, Lori Lane of Sayre, PA, and Bonnie Manzer of Waverly, NY, brother and

sister-in-law, Dave and Diane Dragoo of Waverly, NY, sister and brother-in-law, Shirl and Tony Sindoni of Waverly, NY, mother of his children, Diane Wright, aunts and uncles, Joseph and Kay Daddona of Waverly, NY, and Tom and Elaine Daddona of Sayre, PA, nieces and nephews, Patrick, Jonathan, Cody, Doug, Darren, Laura, TJ, Brett, and Greg, several cousins, and special friends, Kelly Keene and David "Hootie" Tappan.

Friends and family may call on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 1pm-3pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Memorial Service will follow at 3pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Linda Rogers officiating.

Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, in Athens, PA.
