Obituary of Harriet E. Palumbo

Harriet E. Palumbo, 98, of Sayre, PA, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Bradford County Manor following an extended illness.

She was born on October 26, 1919, in Sayre, PA, she was the daughter of the late Martha Clark.

Harriet was a homemaker and stay at home mom, raising her two children and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed dancing and loved listening to any kind of music. Her great joy was visiting with people anywhere, anytime. Harriet was a lifetime member of the JE Wheelock Hose Company, Sayre, and the Sayre American Legion #283.

She is predeceased by her son-in-law, Charles Chandler, Sr., brother, Donald Wall, and sister-in-law, Alice Wall.

Harried is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Abbie Palumbo of Sayre, PA, daughter, Marcia Chandler of Sayre, PA, grandchildren, Leslie and Julie Palumbo, Christopher and Theresa Palumbo, Charles, Jr. and Emily Chandler, and Eleanor Chandler, great-grandchildren, Jonathan Palumbo, Tyler Palumbo, and Linsey Palumbo, brother, Lavern "Bill" Wall of Hornbrook, PA, and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 1pm at Tioga Point Cemetery, 803 North Main Street, Athens, PA. 

Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
