Obituary of Mary Alice Bidlack

Mary Alice Bidlack, 88, of Monroeton, passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the Troy Community Hospital. 

 

She was born on March 2, 1929 in Athens, PA the daughter of the late Stewart, Sr., and Emily (Griffith) Rae.

 

Mary Alice’s priority in life was her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed fishing, blueberry picking, rattlesnake hunting, and swimming with her husband. Mary Alice also spent time knitting, watching movies, bird watching, and making hook rugs.

 

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Robert C. Bidlack, Sr., son-in-law, Lance Bentley, brothers, Paul Rae, Sr. and Stewart Rae, Jr., and sister, Vivian Ammerman.

 

Mary Alice is survived by her children, Robert C. Bidlack, Jr. and Linda Rossi, Caroline Bentley, Ed and Vicky Bidlack, Jane and Mike Bonning, Emily and Norm Woodcock, Marilyn Bidlack and David Cole, and Jim and Becky Bidlack, grandchildren, Deena, Robbie, Tracy, Eppie Jo, Matthew, Shawn, Amy, Raymond B., Jerimy, Jason, Josh, Jackie, Hollie, Raymond, Tammy, Eric, Charlie, Mariah, Daniel, Deseree and James Michael, and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Charlie Rae, sister, June Haynes, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her faithful companion, Peanut.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 6pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA.
