Obituary of Janelle R. Quattrini

Janelle R. Quattrini, 69, of Sayre, PA, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2018.

She was born June 4, 1948, in Sayre, PA, the daughter of the late Thomas and Ethel Ryman Quattrini.

A resident of Sayre her entire life, Janelle was a graduate of Sayre High School, Class of 1966. She retired from the Bradford County Courthouse after many years of service.

Janelle enjoyed being an officer for the Sons of Italy, playing shuffleboard, and enjoying her grandchildren’s activities.

She is predeceased by parents; brothers; Louis and James Quattrini; brother-in-law, Jack Tyler; and sister-in-law, Nancy Quattrini.

Janelle is survived by her children, Thomas and Renee Shay, Theresa and Bruce Chambers, Ronny Shay, and Modestino “Jamy” Polzella; grandchildren, Jillian and Julianna Shay, Ciara Chambers, and Michaela and Patrick Shay; sister, Nellie Tyler; brother, Peter Quattrini; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Marlene Quattrini, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Janelle also leaves behind her favorite cat, Alice.

A family and friends get together will be held at the Sayre Sons of Italy, 301 Desmond Street, Sayre, PA on Thursday, January 25 from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.
