Obituary of Leadom "Lee" A. Warner, Jr.

Leadom A. “Lee” Warner, Jr., 65, of Ulster, PA passed away peacefully with his family by his side into the arms of his Savior on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.  

He was born on August 3, 1952 in Port Arthur, TX, the son of the late Leadom A., Sr. and Vina Silkman Warner.

Lee was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Lee worked as a self-employed Mechanic and he also worked for Agway, EMTA & Allis Hollow Equipment, prior to retiring. His real love though was tinkering and repairing tractors and farm equipment. He had a reputation for being an excellent mechanic. He also enjoyed fishing and cutting wood. A man of deep faith, Lee was happiest enjoying the nature his Lord had created and just spending time outdoors. He also was always happy to help anyone in need, no matter the circumstances.

He is predeceased by his sister, Cindy Green, 2010.

Lee is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years; Lisa at home, children; Josh and Brandi Warner of Ft. Lewis, WA, Faith and Brian Bentley of Waverly, NY, Heather and Tom Briggs of Athens, PA, Stacy and Steve Levering of Athens, PA, and Holly Kuhns and Nevin Irvin of Oberlin, OH, grandchildren; Jeremiah, Jacob, Blake, Brayden, Bryce, Riley, Landon, Maddox, Emma, Levi, Gabe, Aiden, and Brody. He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses; Allen and Sherry Warner of Haysville, KS, Tracy and Rita Warner of Shell Knob, MO, Linda and Larry DePue of Limerick, PA, Dale and Sharon Warner of Halifax, PA, and Debra and Scott Chilson of Sayre, PA, sister; Penny Warner, aunts and uncles; Tracy and Lois Silkman, Betty Raykovitz, Liz Newberry, and Gus VonWolfradt, several nieces, nephew, and cousins, close friends; George and Sherry Lee & Clair Thrush. He will be missed by many other friends and neighbors and by all who knew and loved him.

Friends and family may call on Monday, February 19, 2018, from 11am-1pm at the North Rome Wesleyan Church, 3374 North Rome Road, Rome, PA. Funeral services will follow at the Church at 1pm with the Rev. Ed Torres officiating.

Burial will be in Windham Summit Cemetery, Windham, PA.
