Obituary of David S. Jackson

David “Dave” S. Densmore Jackson, 38, of Gillett, PA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 9, 2018.

He was born on May 13, 1979 in Sayre, PA, the son of Stanley and Barbara (Stetson) Densmore.

Dave was a Truck Driver, most recently employed with Matthews Trucking. He loved spending time with his family and friends on the 4-Wheelers and sitting around the bonfires. He enjoyed fishing. Dave could always be counted on to pull a prank on anyone available and no one ever could avoid being on the receiving end of his “wet-willies”.

He is predeceased by his father; Stanley Densmore, brother; Toby Densmore, paternal grandfather; Joseph Densmore, maternal grandmother; Mary Stetson, and several aunts and uncles.

David is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years; Bambi at home, children; Kreyanna Jackson and Bradley Pequignot of Blossburg, PA, Shynell Jackson and Tyler Nemeth of Towanda, PA, and Joslyn Jackson at home, mother; Barbara Jackson of Binghamton, NY, step-father and step-mother; Sam and Sheila Jackson of Hornell, NY, and paternal grandmother; Iva Austin of FL. He is also survived by his brothers’ Kyle Jackson of NH and Ethan Jackson of Hornell, NY, sister Sara Jackson of Binghamton, NY, step-brother; Derrick Smolos of GA, mother and father-in-law; Bonnie Johnson and Bob Peterson, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Brandi, Sarah, Brandon, Sam, and Sammi, special uncle and aunt; Frank and Cheryl Austin of TN, several aunts, uncles, special nieces; Lana and Payton and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At David’s request, there will be no calling hours or services. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
