Obituary of Eileen Knauss

Eileen Jean Heffron Knauss, 71, a Chattanooga area resident for 10+ years, formerly of Forestville, MD, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018.

Eileen was a graduate of Oxon Hill High School. She was a long-time parishioner of Mt. Calvary Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman (Jack) Knauss in 2011.

Eileen is survived by her 2 children, 3 sisters, multiple cousins, several nieces and nephews, as well as a growing group of little ones.

There will be a memorial service on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 4pm – 8pm at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace Road, Chattanooga, TN. The service will be held on July 6 at 5pm at the Lane Funeral Home.

The family will hold a short viewing on Tuesday, July 10 from 1pm-2:30pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:45pm at Tioga Point Cemetery, 803 North Main Street, Athens, PA.
