I will never forget his smile, laughs or jokes. The last thing he told was if I have to have a babysitter I want it to be you. I asked him if he could see and he said yes you are a beautiful lady. He was amazing. Very Proud of his son Dane for following in his foot steps about being a cop always talked about it. Definitely will miss his stories. So thankful for being able to take care of him. RIP BOB

To Bob’s family esp. John, his younger brother. I will remember a younger Bob. The Bob I remember is one of the good guys from our days in Athens. Bob was always smiling just like his photo above. He was funny, and usually had a joke or a comment to make us laugh. Easy going, funny and willing to add something to the conversation. John, On August 9th, I pause to remember and honor you, Bill Z, Bill Krotzer, Dick Orshal and I started to really grow up when we raised our right hands and vowed to defend our country. Add to that group our new friend John Scombordi from Wilkes Barre, who literally became our friend and fellow “Boot”. I hope you remember the date as well, even though I was a lifetime ago. Bless you all as you all come together for his memory. Growing up across the street I have many good memories. I saw Bob up in Litchfield delivering mail, and we gabbed along the side of the road, getting caught up with family news. I know it has been a while, but you are all in my prayers.
