Obituary of Daniel M. LaDue
Daniel Martin LaDue, 75, of Waverly, passed away on Nov. 22, 2018 at home following a brief illness. He was born on April 9, 1943 in Ithaca, NY to the late George U. and Gertrude A. (Murphy) LaDue.
Daniel loved fishing, bowling, hunting, and spending time with his family. He was a Untied States Army Veteran, who served in Vietnam. He was the recipient of the purple heart during his service.
He was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth U. LaDue; brother, George E. LaDue; sister-in-law, Virginia R. LaDue; great-grandson, Seth E. Rumsey II; and great-granddaughter, Xanadu R. Rumsey.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 50 years, Virginia L. LaDue; daughters, Kimberly LaDue and Susan R. LaDue (Clifford E. McReynolds); niece, Amy Brand; grandchildren, Danielle R. Johnson (Mike Brundege), Autumn M. Johnson (Donnie Archibald, Kenneth M. Johnson and Kurtis E. Ayers; five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Jean M. (James F.) Kirk, Robert S. and (James Eskew), Ray B. Hawkins (Darin Tubbs), Rochelle I. (Timothy) Stanton, and Cindy Hawkins; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 2pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA.
