Obituary of Clara M. Burnett

Clara "Mae" Burnett, 86, of Athens, PA, died peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Bradford County Manor following an extended illness.

Mae was born on February 6, 1932 in Sayre, PA, to the late Frank and Lucille (Foster) Herrick.

Mae is survived by her husband, Ronald E. Burnett of 51 years; her children: Debra Eisenhart, Ronni Walker; Terri Burnett (Ralph Babcock), Kevin Burnett (Penny Knolles); her grandchildren: Gregory McLendon (Mary McLendon), Brian R McLendon, Anthony P Barrouk (Rebecca Barrouk), Taisha Babcock, Samantha Babcock, Zachary Burnett (Katrina Benjamin) , Lucille Burnett, Adaline Burnett, Savannah Brandon, Danielle Knolles, and Josh Knolles along with 9 great grandchildren and her sister, Helen Eisenhart.

Mae loved outdoor activities, especially golf which she played well into her 80's, and gardening. She loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends.

Mae is loved, missed and remembered by her family and friends.

In keeping with the wishes of Mae, there will be no funeral services. A private remembrance will be held on December 16, 2018. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
