Obituary of Charles "Charlie" E. Kellogg

Charles E. "Charlie" Kellogg, 66, of Athens, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 with his family by his side.

He was born on November 17, 1952 in Waverly, NY, the son of the late Manley and Lois (Bradley) Kellogg.

Charlie loved spending time with his family, and loved their two-family dogs, Macy and Savannah. He was an avid hunter of large and small game in addition to water fowl and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time shooting skeet at the Sayre Sportsmen's Club with friends.

During his working career, he assisted his grandparents Curtis and Mable Kellogg on their dairy farm and worked commercial construction for many years. Charlie was employed at the Guthrie Clinic in General Maintenance, prior to retiring.

He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Curtis and Mable (Smith) Kellogg, maternal grandparents, Charles and Jeanette (Moss) Bradley, uncle, Ralph Kellogg, father-in-law, Gino Marca, and brother-in-law, David Marca.

Charlie is survived by his dedicated and loving wife of 42 years, Laura (Marca) Kellogg, sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Izzy (Judson) Kellogg and his grandchildren, Lucas, Nathan, Audrey and Rexford Kellogg and Kyle and Jamie (Earls) Kellogg and his grandchildren, Mason, Madison, Hailey and Hensley Kellogg. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon (Kellogg) and Danny Hubbard, Carol (Kellogg) and James Hillman, Trudy (Kellogg) and Doug Rogers, numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and his mother-in-law, Anne (Morizio) Marca.

Friends and family may call on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 1pm-3pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at the funeral home at 3pm with the Rev. Rob Wuethrich officiating.
