Charles "Ricky" R. Miner II, 50, of Sayre, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 with his family by his side at the Sayre Healthcare Center. He was born on February 19, 1968 at Ft. Dix, NJ to Charles and Kay (Overacker) Miner. Ricky loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was employed with Stroehmann Bakeries and Sperry Rail. Ricky also enjoyed working at the garage with Dick Morris in Sayre. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and was a faithful Earnhardt fan of both Dale, Sr. and Dale, Jr. Ricky was a collector of Hot Wheels, loved all animals but was particularly fond of cats and never met one he didn't like. He is predeceased by his wife; Grace (Owen) Miner, father; Charles R. Miner, paternal grandparents; Delmar, Sr. and Frances Miner, maternal grandparents; Elmer and Grace Overacker, and nephew; Thomas "Tom" Cook III. Charles is survived by his children; Charles Miner III and Lisa Phillips of Sayre, PA and Ashley and Dylan Parrish of Sayre, PA, parents; Kay and Robert Park of Sayre, PA, grandchildren; Devyn, Dustin, and Ryliegh Seiger of Sayre, PA and Alianna and Xander Parrish of Sayre, PA, sister and brother-in-law; Jacquline Miner and Eric Keir of Sayre, PA, and brother; Ardill Keeler of Sayre, PA. He is also survived by his uncle and aunt; Gerald and Janet Miner of Rome, PA, uncles; Delmar Miner, Jr. of FL and Lawrence Miner of Sayre, PA, nieces and nephew; Isabella Miner, Mason Keeler, and Rylee Keeler, special cousins; Kelly and Mike Miner and Lucille and Fran Kabes, and many other extended family and friends.
