Obituary of Diane L. Simons

Diane L. Simons, 67, of Columbia Crossroads, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Strong's Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY. She was born on April 19, 1951 in Middletown, CT, the daughter of the late Charles and Ann Harlo. Diane loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending her grandsons' motocross races whenever possible. She loved all animals but especially riding horses and her pet tortoise. She worked in tax preparation and also helped on the family farm. For many years, she was a part of 4-H and she enjoyed watching the fantasy programs on TV. Diane is survived by her husband of 32 years; Lee at home, daughters; Amy Gilbert and Melissa Bruce both of Columbia Crossroads, PA, grandchildren; Michael, Matthew, Shelby, and Corbin, brothers; Charles Harlo and Keith Harlo both of CT, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be announced at a later date in the spring. Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA is assisting the family.
