Obituary of Ruth Anna Cobb

Ruth A. Brotzman Cobb, 90, of Sayre, PA passed away Wednesday, January 02, 2019 at the Sayre Health Care Center, her home for the last two years.

She was born March 11, 1928, the daughter of the late Clark and Florence Sink Brotzman.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband of nearly 66 years, Robert E. Cobb on February 20, 2012, she was also predeceased by sisters Mearl (Leonard) Brink and Pearl (Cecil) Repsher; brothers Francis (Jeanette) Brotzman, Bryce (Betty) Brotzman and Ray Brotzman.

She is survived by her son Elwood Ray and Patricia Lee Burdick Cobb of Horseheads, NY; grandchildren John (Rex) Felt, Mary Thomas, Melissa (Mike) Southworth, Jeremy (Mary) Saxer and Linsey (Brad) Boutilier; 13 great grandchildren and over a dozen great great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

At Ruth’s request there will be no calling hours or service. The Family is being assisted by the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 225 S. Main St., Athens, PA 18810

Burial will take place at a later date in the Beaver Meadows Cemetery near Laceyville, PA
