Obituary of Bradley J. Bailey

Bradley J. Bailey, 26, of Waverly, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 following his courageous battle with addiction. He was born on February 23, 1992 in Honesdale, PA, the son of Doug and Lisa (Cron) Bailey. Bradley was a 2010 graduate of Waverly High School. While in school, he was a part of the Waverly Basketball team and once he graduated his love of that sport continued and he still enjoyed shooting hoops. Bradley was employed with Andrews Lawn and Landscaping, West Chester, PA and worked in construction as well. He loved spending time with the love of his life, his son, Cooper. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends playing x-box. Bradley was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed fishing. He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Robert Bailey. Bradley is survived by his parents, Lisa and Doug Bailey of Waverly, NY, his beloved son, Cooper Bailey of Ridgebury, PA, the mother of his son, Brooke Hadlock of Ridgebury, PA, his sister and companion, Anna Bailey and Kyle Baker of Wyalusing, PA, maternal grandparents, Bill and Dianne Cron of Athens, PA, paternal grandmother, Joyce Bailey of Millerton, PA, maternal great-grandmother, Lillian Cron, maternal aunt and uncle, Becka and Chris Wayman of Owego, NY and cousins, Ryan and Alec Wayman, paternal uncle and aunt, Dave and Barb Bailey of Copley, OH and cousins, Caitlyn and Allie Bailey, Tim and Karin Bailey of VA and cousins, Dane (Taylor) Bailey, and Kelsey Bailey, and many great-aunts and great-uncles. He is also survived by his close friends, Logan and Shane, and many other special friends in the Valley and West Chester, PA areas. Friends and family may call on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 1pm-4pm at Greater Valley Assembly of God, 104 South Main Street, Athens, PA. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 4pm at the church with Rev. Chris Gray officiating.
