Doris M. Williams, 86, of Sayre, PA, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Friday, January 11, 2019. She was born on December 28, 1932 in Litchfield, PA, the daughter of the late Herbert L. and Letha M. (Park) Campbell. Doris loved her family and spending time with them. She was an avid reader, loved history, and enjoyed the challenge of a good crossword puzzle. She was employed at several local dress factories, prior to retiring. She is predeceased by her husband; Albert, and sisters; Hazel and Barb. Doris is survived by her children; Wayne and Beth Williams of Nicholson, PA, Dale and Michele Williams of Connellsville, PA, Jeffrey and Vicki Williams of Nichols, NY, Brenda and William Crocker of Sayre, PA, Lois and Paul VanAlstine of Grimesland, NC, and Donna James of Clarksville, TN, 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law; William and Norma Campbell of Litchfield, PA, sister and brother-in-law; Geraldine and Howard DePew of Athens, PA, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 10am-12pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral services will follow at 12pm at the funeral home with the Rev. James Donahoo officiating. Burial will be in Bradford County Memorial Park, Towanda, PA at the convenience of the family.
