Obituary of Lillian M. Cron

Lillian M. "Sis" Cron, 88, of Athens, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Elderwood at Waverly SNF.

She was born on February 28, 1930 in Sayre, PA the daughter of the late John and Ethel Goodale Hadlock.

Lillian's life focused around her family and spending time with them. She was an avid rummage sale follower and enjoyed having her own several times during the season. Sis loved cooking, travelling and word puzzles. She worked as a Seamstress and a bartender.

She is predeceased by her husband Raymond Cron; daughter Dixie Smith, grandson David Michael Cron, great-grandson Bradley J. Bailey, and siblings Dorothy Forman, John Hadlock, Donald Hadlock and Harry Hadlock.

Lillian is survived by her children Bill and Dianne Cron of Athens, PA, Mary Jane Cron of MT, John Cron of MT, David Cron and Patricia of Sayre, PA, Fay Cron of Punxsutawney, PA, Rose Cron of Waverly, NY, Jeff Cron and Debbie of Athens, PA Barney Cron of Philadelphia, PA and Joe and Kathy Bruno of Waverly, NY, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson Cooper Bradley, siblings Mary Funk of Athens, PA, Art Hadlock and Nancy of PA, Billy Jo Hadlock of Owego, NY, sister-in-law Janice Hadlock of Towanda, PA, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends may call on Monday, February 18, 2019 from 5pm-6pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral services will follow at 6pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Linda Rogers officiating.

Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA at the convenience of the family.
