Obituary of David E. Glose
He was born August 6, 1944 in Sayre, PA the son of the late Martin and June Camp Glose.
David was a member of the Sayre Christian Church. He worked for the Railroad as a diesel mechanic for 20+ years. He loved being outdoors in nature by hiking, camping, fishing and riding motorcycle. He also enjoyed playing chess and playing the harmonica. David loved listening to music and studying the Bible. He was most often seen with a cup of coffee and wearing bib overalls. He was a Christian man that looked forward to the journey of a closer walk with God.
David was predeceased by his loving partner Shirley Decker.
He was survived by his children Katie and Lee Smith of Waverly, NY; Chris Glose of Corning, NY and Bob and Priscilla VanDewark of Sayre, PA; grandchildren Hunter and Spencer VanDewark of Sayre, PA; brothers and sisters: Marty Glose of Sayre, PA; Sister Lucille Northrup of Athens, PA; James and Sharon Glose of Mint Hill, NC; very special friend Beryl Cleary of Sayre, PA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 2PM at Round Top Park.
