Obituary of Audrey A. Searfoss

Audrey A. Searfoss, 69, of Waverly, NY passed away with her beloved husband and daughter by her side on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born on October 31, 1949 in Waverly, NY, the daughter of the late Walter and Thelma (Thompson) Mitchell and adopted late father Donald Loveland.

Audrey worked her entire life in the grocery retail business. Her priority in life was her family. After marrying Ronald, his family became hers and her door was open to any and all. She was a devoted wife and mother. While she was raising her daughter, Wendy, her friends and the kids in the neighborhood became like Audrey's children. She had a deep love and appreciation for life and people. She enjoyed working retail because it gave her the opportunity to meet and converse with so many people.

Audrey is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Ronald at home, loving daughter and her best friend, Wendy Salo of Germantown, MD, brother Ronald Mitchell of Sayre, PA, grand kitties Psycho and Monty, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At Audrey's request, there will be no calling hours or services. At a later date, the family will schedule a Celebration of Life Service which will be announced. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA
