Margaret J. Murray, beloved mother and grandmother, 91, of Sayre, PA passed away on October 14, 2011. Margaret was a Nurses’ Aide at Bradford County Manor for 15 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Sayre Christian Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by her grandchildren whom loved her dearly. She is predeceased by her parents Fred and Pluma Heverly Hausknecht, daughters Ann and Marcia Murray, granddaughter Denise Darpino, 4 sisters, and 5 brothers. . Margaret is survived by her daughter Georgia Murray of Waverly, two grandchildren Dawn (Robert) Wendland of Endicott and Tom (Deborah) Darpino of Newark Valley, 3 great-grandchildren Samantha, Jessica, and Vincent Darpino, sisters-in-law Mary Hausknecht, Helen Knott, Alice Dann, and Pauline Allen, and many nieces, and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 11am at the Tioga Point Cemetery, 803 North Main Street, Athens, PA with the Rev. James Donahoo officiating. The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA. Burial will be in the Tioga Point Cemetery.
