Obituary of Doris J. Wilkinson

Doris J. (Annabel) Wilkinson, age 84 of Athens, PA passed away on March 9, 2019 at home.

She was born in Waverly, NY, the daughter of Alton and Martha (Brown) Annabel.

Doris was the wife of John E. Wilkinson. She was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Doris loved the holidays. Every 4^th of July, Doris held a reunion for all of her extended family (and anyone else that wanted to join) at Round Top Park.

Doris is survived by her husband John at home; son Gary Wilkinson of Athens, PA; daughter Terri (Frank) Stillman of Waverly, NY; daughter Susan Wilkinson; son James Wilkinson of Athens, PA; son Robert Wilkinson of Athens, PA; son Richard (Gail) Wilkinson of Waverly, NY; son Craig (Tammy) Wilkinson of Athens, PA; sisters and brothers, Bernita Annabel of South Waverly, PA; Marilyn (Nick) Jungers of Athens, PA; Clara (Charles) Larrabee of Waverly, NY; Charles (Dianne) Annabel of Waverly, NY; Sandra (Ronald) Burk of McClure, PA; Stewart (Gloria) Annabel of Charlottesville, VA; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 29 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters Mary Louise Annabel, Donna Tallman, and Beverly Moore.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 4pm-6pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral services will follow at 6pm at the funeral home.
