Obituary of Joyce B. Dudash
Joyce B. Dudash, 75, of Athens, PA passed away with her beloved husband and family by her side on Monday, March 4, 2019 at her home.
She was born on November 6, 1943 in Binghamton, NY, the daughter of the late J. Demerast and Esther R. Berry.
Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her priority was her family, spending time with them, and caring for them. In her younger years, she enjoyed horses and riding, 4H, decorating wedding cakes and was a youth leader for Word of Life Ministries. Joyce was a cat lover and collected cat cookie jars, some of which had belonged to her mother. She enjoyed cooking, baking, recipe books, genealogy, sewing and crafts, and scrapbooking. Joyce was a member of the First Baptist Church, Waverly, NY.
She is predeceased by her sister Lois Berry.
Joyce is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Larue at home, daughter Nadine (Philip) Pipher of Endicott, NY, sons Clay (Donna) Dudash of Waverly, NY, Harmon L. (Rosalynn) Dudash of Bradford, NY, and Barry (Brenda) Dudash of Jacksonville, FL, grandchildren Heather (Chris) Ulrich, Andrew Robinson and fiancé Tara Sears, Justin Dudash, Tyler Dudash, Aleah Dudash, Callyn Dudash, Nathan Dudash, Kasey Dudash, and Jillian Dudash, great-grandchildren Bodie Ulrich, Lillian Ulrich, and Olivia Dudash. She is also survived by her sister Judith Ross of FL, 3 nieces Myrna (Mark) McKinney and their son Merrick, Karla Eisenhard and fiancé Joe, and Margo Miller and several cousins.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 11am – 12pm at the Waverly First Baptist Church, 23 Tioga Street, Waverly, NY. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12pm at the church with the Rev. Steve Dygert officiating.
