Obituary of Debbie Senese

Marion Deborah “Debbie” (Webster) Senese, 55, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family following her brave battle with neurological Lyme disease.

 

She was born on July 31, 1963 in Philadelphia, PA the beloved daughter of Edward and Marion (Lauer) Webster.

 

Debbie’s life was always focused on her faith, her family, her friends, and all those that she touched on her journey. Throughout her life, Debbie was focused on serving the Lord and spreading His Word.  She did this by way of her music, her beautiful singing voice, Vacation Bible Schools, Children Clubs, and serving as a Sunday School Teacher.  Debbie also was the author of several Bible Study and Devotional Books.

 

She was a devoted wife, mom, and grandmom. She was a stay at home wife and mom and enjoyed cooking, baking, and canning. Debbie also loved all animals, especially she loved the comfort her pets brought to her.

 

Debbie is survived by her soulmate, husband, and best friend of 40 years Gerald “Jerry” Senese at home, sons and daughters-in-law Matthew Edward and Tiffany Senese of Sayre, PA, Jonathan David and Kelsey Senese of Elmira, NY, and Timothy Daniel and Valerie Senese of Susquehanna, PA, grandchildren Cassandra Abigail Senese,Zacharey Matthew Senese, Rylee Jade Lantz, Timothy Daniel Senese II, Elizabeth Ellen Senese, Elise Breanne Senese, and Catherine Grace Senese, her parents Edward and Marion Webster of Sayre, PA, brother and sister-in-law Edward Scott and  Yelena Webster of Feasterville, PA, and nephews Andrew Edward and Simon Edward Webster.   

 

A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA with the Rev. Chris Gray officiating.

 

Memorial donations may be made in Marion’s memory to: Bible Baptist Church of Deland, FL, 872 Glenwood Road, Deland, FL 32720 to continue her ministry outreach to others. The family wishes to thank Guthrie Hospice for the wonderful care given to their loved one during her illness. And a special thank you to her special caregiver and friend, Terry Young.
